Thursday's Tip: Valentine Straws

Materials:

Love Me Do Cut It Set
Yours Truly SVGS
LD Jambalya
LD Blankie
Bakers Twine
Cardstock
Straws

Directions:

I used the pinwheel and tag from the Love Me Do Cut It Set, and the Flower and hearts are from the Yours Truly SVG set. Begin by cutting out the pinwheel, tag, flowers and multiple small hearts from the center of the flower.

Assemble the pinwheel, then place the tag at the back of the brad. Glue the straw to the edge of the tag away from the brad so the pinwheel can still spin.

To make the hanging hearts, cut a small piece of baker's twine, or other ribbon or string. I used two hearts on each side (so 4 total). And glued them from front to back with the twine in the middle.

Wrap around the back of the pinwheel. And let hang. You will do the same thing with the flower straw.

When done, assemble another set of wrap around hearts. I also created tags to wrap around using the fonts LD Blankie and LD Jambalaya.
