Brrrr! It's cold! Need a fun activity to keep the kids busy this winter? Create your own stitching grid on any simple set. Using this FREEBIE (dot grid svg) and a fun simple set like the mitten we used for Nordic Christmas.

Begin by bringing in the object you want to cut into your cutting program. We use and love Make-the-Cut. Then bring in the grid, which you can separate and make however many pixels wide and long as you like.

Cut your mitten out. And thread some yarn into a tapestry needle or if your child is doing grab one of those plastic ones. And stitch away!

Makes for a fun activity or cute winter wall decor!
