Superhero Neck Tie!

                                                                                                                                           

Create the perfect tie for the Superhero in your life using the new Superhero Action Words Cut It Set. Even non-sewers or very basic sewers can do this (ah-hem), like me!

Materials:
Superhero Action Words Cut It Set
Heat n' Bond Ultra Hold
Fabric
Neck Tie

Directions:

Begin by adhering your Heat n' Bond to the back of your fabric. Simply, cut out a piece of Heat n' Bond that is slightly smaller than your fabric remove the backing and stick the rough side to the back side of your fabric. Then iron down, by pressing and holding the iron to the fabric.
From here you can either trace the image on the Heat n' Bond or take the easy way out and use your digital cutting machine. To use your cutting machine just go ahead and stick your coated fabric to your mat and cut out, or if you are using an old mat, go ahead and remove the backing on the Heat n' Bond and stick to the mat that way and then cut.

I used images 8 and 21 from the Superhero Action Words Cut It Set.

I cut out only the bottom layer on 21 and then I blacked out the bottom layer on 8 in Make-The-Cut, just by right clicking and selecting Blackout. This way there are no little areas to cut out, which can be a little more difficult with fabric.

Once its all cut out you can remove the backing and iron on to the tie. I did 3 layers so I ironed on the words to each other first then and image 21 onto the tie. I actually went ahead and put a stitch around image 21. Then I ironed on the words on top to finish it off!

Carrot Candy Holder

Tell someone you "Carrot" a lot for them this Easter with this adorable treat holder made from our Valentine Cone Boxes SVGs and Patricia's Zapata's Easter Eggs Cut Its.

Materials:
Valentine Cone Boxes SVGs
Patricia Zapata's Easter Eggs Cut Its
Card Stock
Ribbon

Directions:

Begin by cutting out the Valentine Cone Box with just the smooth rounded top. Use a typical paper punch and punch a hole on two opposite sides:

Glue together the sides of your cone. And cut out the circled egg from Patricia's Easter Egg Cut Its. This is going to be your "bow/carrot stem."  Bring the ends to the center of the circle:

Pull your ribbon through both sides of the carrot first, and then bring it through all pieces of the Egg/bow.

Before tying it off it should look like this:

Tie it off low or high depending what look you want, hang from the wall as decor, or fill with candy and give away!
